An important message from Good Thinking
We regret to inform you that the Good Thinking service will be closing on 31 January 2026. This has been a difficult decision after eight years of supporting Londoners.
If you’re struggling with your mental health, please visit Every Mind Matters or Hub of Hope, or contact your GP, NHS 111, or the mental health team in your borough. For more information about the closure, read our FAQs.We have created an archive of the Good Thinking website for healthcare professionals.Approved by
Good Thinking provides wellbeing resources for teachers, headteachers and other education professionals across London so they can support their students and look after themselves.
With YoungMinds estimating that around five children in every classroom have a probable mental health condition and the Education Support’s Teacher Wellbeing Index showing that 78% of all education staff are stressed, Good Thinking is here to help.
We work with GPs, youth organisations and other experts to provide a range of free, NHS-approved wellbeing resources for Londoners, including apps, guides and workbooks. For education professionals, we’ve created a lesson pack as an introduction to mental health and wellbeing for secondary school students, plus other advice articles.
We understand that education is an increasingly demanding career and want to ensure that you have easy access to mental health resources. If you’re a member of your school’s senior leadership team or a Designated Mental Health Lead, please share this page with your colleagues.
