We all need community and connection. So, on Friday 31 January, Great Mental Health Day (#GreatMentalHealth) will get people across London talking about their mental health and wellbeing and help to raise awareness of the brilliant local support services and resources available to Londoners all year round.
When times are tough, it’s really important that we look after our own wellbeing. But we also need to support other people so that they know they are not alone.
Great Mental Health Day has been described by Londoners as having “opened up the conversation of mental health” and as “an amazing opportunity to learn about how to access services we hadn’t heard of before”.
Now in its fourth year and organised by Thrive LDN, the theme of Great Mental Health Day is ‘small actions for others’. To help you, the Good Thinking team has put together a list of things you can do to support your friends, relatives, colleagues and other people in your community.
There are lots of events and activities (both in-person and virtual) happening on the day. Here at Good Thinking, we’re hosting a free webinar at 1pm on Friday 31 January and would love you to join us.
Wherever you live in London, why not spread some hope and kindness on Great Mental Health Day?
