Good Thinking ("we") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This policy (together with our Acceptable Use (Terms of Use) Policy) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. 

For the purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (the Act), the data controller is Mindwave Ventures Limited. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 09230086 and have our registered office at Unit 8, Epic House, Fulwell Road, Teddington, Middlesex, TW11 0RQ. Our main trading address is 4A Whitehorse Mews, 37-39 Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7QD.

You may give us information about you by filling in forms on our site www.good-thinking.uk (our site) or by corresponding with us by e-mail or otherwise. The information you give us may include your name and e-mail address.

Location:

When you enter our site, a browser pop-up box asks if you are willing to share your geographic location with us. This location is collected at borough level only (the first part of your post code). Your exact location is unknown. You have the option to allow us to collect this data by clicking either ‘allow’ or ‘don't allow’ in the pop-up box. This data is stored within Google Analytics (please refer to the ‘where we store your personal data’ section below for further information).

Self-assessment:

The self-assessment tool collects the responses that you input into the assessment. This data is stored by Expert 24 Ltd. This data includes age and gender (see ‘Where we store your personal data’ below for further information).

Information we collect about you

With regard to each of your visits to our site we may automatically collect the following information:

  • Technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;
  • Non-identifying Information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time); pages you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs) and methods used to browse away from the page.

If you choose to share your personal information with us, we may share it with any member of our sponsoring group, which means within the London based Clinical Commissioning Groups, London Borough Local Authorities, the Mayor of London and partners who are contracted to Good Thinking project.

We may share your information with selected third parties including:

  • Sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you.
  • If we consider that the information you have provided might indicate a safeguarding issue, to notify the police, social services, or other appropriate public agency.
  • Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our site.

 We may disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
  • If we or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case data held will be one of the transferred assets.
  • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, if we reasonably consider that information provided indicates a safeguarding issue, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Good Thinking, our users, or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection.


Where we store your personal data 

The data we collect will be stored on the computer servers of a third party, Expert 24 Ltd and Google Analytics (https://policies.google.com/privacy). 

Expert 24 Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 04203256 with the registered office at Oakhill House, 130 Tonbridge Road, Hildenborough, Tonbridge, Kent, TN11 9DZ. 

Expert 24 Ltd store data in the UK in an ISO27001 hosting facility. These servers are based within the European Economic Area ("EEA"). All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers. 

The data will be processed both by that third party (for the purposes of storing it) and also by London based Clinical Commissioning Groups, London Borough Local Authorities and our partners who are contracted to Good Thinking (please refer to the ‘Disclosure of your information’ section above (who will process it for the purposes of analysing the information as outlined above).

By submitting your data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. We have agreements in place with the third parties referred to above designed to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Act.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access. 

Your rights

You have the right to ask us not to process your data for marketing purposes. We will inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by contacting us at info@good-thinking.uk.

Our site contains links to and from the websites of our partners and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. However, you are not invisible. Using incognito mode / private browsing does not hide your browser history from your internet service provider, Good Thinking or your employer (if you are using a company device).
