Following a healthy, balanced diet as outlined in the UK’s Eatwell Guide will help you to stay well and feel your best. With food prices and the cost of energy rising, however, you might be finding it harder to stick to healthy eating at the moment. And, if you’re feeling anxious or stressed, you might be turning more often to high-calorie, high-sugar meals and snacks.

As the Mental Health Foundation notes, “The relationship between our diet and our mental health is complex. However, research shows a link between what we eat and how we feel. Eating well can help you feel better.”

So, the team at Good Thinking, London’s digital mental wellbeing service, has put together some tips to help you shop for and prepare healthy and nutritious meals.
